Stole this idea from Shanti. This is where I record song that I first listen in 2010 and I love and put in constant repeat on my music player. I figure this will make it easier for me when I do music review by the end of the year.

I think I find a new series that I can keep my eyes on. I enjoy Riding The Storm by Sydney Croft, book 1 of ACRO (Agency for Covert Rare Operatives) so much. It's a paranormal erotic romance, so I put my mindset mode into "yes, a lot of sex scenes are expected". However, I do find the story (when they are not doing sex *g*) as enganging. Those ACRO operatives are VERY intriguing. I already cannot wait until I leave the office so I can read book #2.

I think I practically exhaust my resource of J.M. Snyder's books. Oh, there are still a LOT of m/m romance books that I can try but I'm worried that they will be overloaded with sex scenes. Thanks to Ms. Snyder's stories, I am in a mood for more "romance" rather than just sex scenes. I guess I'll just sort out a couple of PNR books to try instead. Or look for m/m romance title that is not bordering on sex overload. I am up for heterosexual sex scenes though, for a change (which I hope to get from PNR books) :)
I wish I have better luck with PNR titles *sigh*. Most of the series start rocky for me. Though considering my prior experience with the Psy-Changeling series, I should REALLY try to hang on for a couple of books before deciding to stop. I mean, I have not fallen in love with the Psy-Changeling series until book #3 ...

So, I decided to pick Riding The Storm by Sydney Croft (and I expect lots of het sex scenes, I guess, based on the reviews on Goodreads *g*) and Kiss of Midnight by Lara Adrian because

This book is one of my most awaited book in 2010 and let me tell you that it doesn't disappoint. The story starts immediately after the first book. More sinister plot among the Cadre, more killing, as well as more secrets are shared.
Score: 4.5 stars
( No major spoilers ... )
Now that I actually finish a NON male/male romance books, I wonder if I can keep it up and read something from the paranormal romance genre. Unfortunately, I haven't found a PNR title that intrigues me as much as Nalini Singh's or Jeaniene Frost's *sigh*

I presented result of a research study today; it was one that kept me busy for the last two weeks. I thought it went quite well. I was able to answers questions raised during presentation from clients. I did hear one of the client said, "Good". So I really do hope that the result is satisfactory for them and they can actually use it for their marketing strategy. That is one of the most difficult things in my job. To actually provide something useful. BUT, I can't take a deep breath of relief first because another project is waiting; and this one is as challenging because the clients have told me they expect useful directives to improve their product. Oh, gosh, the challenge of being a market researcher *sigh*
It's February, time to check my movie and book challenge. I watched 14 movies in January. It's not so bad -- though if I want to make it to 200 movies by the end of the year, I should at least wacth 16 movies/month. I still have time. While for book, hmmm, I'm a bit embarassed to say because it will sound like I have nothing to do but read *lol*. In total I have read 59 titles, which consisted of 18 full length novel (> 150 pages) and 41 novellas (30 - 150 pages). In my defense, a lot of those novellas are less than 100 pages long, so I can read like 1 or 2 a day.
This week will be another busy week. So I might not be around here much. In case somebody wondering (yes, I know, narcisstic much, Ami? *g*)
