Initial goal: 50 books achieved on August 2nd
Second goal: to read 65 books instead of 50 books, and achieved that in October 3rd.

Awhile ago I posted my favorite male/female TV BFFs. Now, I am doing my favorite same sex TV BFF.

While there might be plenty BFFs on TV shows but for me, what constitute as BFF must not only because they "work" together or said as "best friends". They should have that chemistry or showing activities outside work and have several important scenes that support the fact that they're BFFs. So for example, Bones and Angela do not really feel like BFFs to me because Bones shares more time with Booth while Angela on the lab. Or Mark and Derek in Grey's Anatomy because I almost never seen them really do BFF activities.

Funny thing, the top 3 are male/male BFF :p

And, I need a new wallpaper for my PC ... so I ended up making a simple one with white background, since the last few wallpapers of mine were all dark. I'm turning to Callie/Arisona this time because I've been enjoying their storyline this season ...




I'm leaving today for two nights in Bali for a company activity. It might be nice to see my colleagues again after 3 weeks holiday. ALTHOUGH, I still definitely enjoy one more week of my staying home as part of my sabbatical leave.

As for White Collar, USA network has gone 3 - 0 now with this show because just like their summer shows Burn Notice and Royal Pains, I'm LOVING this one. It's witty entertainment and pretty boys and New York City!! AND it's a show that brings Stanford from SATC and Gallant from E.R. :p

I was able to catch up with several shows now; including this week's episode ... and I totally need to talk about these two's latest

malicat, I know that you have given up on Supernatural; but I truly think you need to see this one episode because I just think it's a brilliant one.

By the way, I found out that the total episodes I have to watch are less than 50 because some shows only have two or even one episode when I was away for my + 3 weeks vacation. I also decide to postpone watching Accidentally On Purpose and HIMYM until MUCH later, like maybe during winter break. It doesn't reduce my TV shows significantly, but hey, it's a progress!!

Now, the last shows I need to catch up with are The Vampire Diaries and Merlin; then I guess I'm back on track with all 14 shows. AND I can check out White Collar because it's on USA and I love how entertaining Burn Notice and Royal Pains are.

Because more people commented on my losing camera, well this is the full story. It's MY OWN FAULT, really. I left the camera inside a female toilet in one of the Malls in Macau. When I returned to the stall 30 minutes later, of course it was gone. This is not the first time it ever happens to me. I have tendency to be forgetful about my stuffs. I lost my cellphone twice the same exact way in one of the Malls in Jakarta.

Luckily, I had only been in Macau for a day; so the photos I lost were the ones I took there. Plus I met an Indonesian friend there, so I had photos on her camera.

I was forced to buy a new cheaper camera in Macau. It cost around + USD 1500; half the price of my original camera. It's a Canon Powershot A480. HOWEVER, don't really feel bad for me. I'd like to see a positive thing from it. The store threw away a FREE 4Gb memory card with the purchase (my old camera only had 512 Mb) AND despite it being cheaper, the camera has pretty good features, including manual mode (which I totally prefer than Auto) and easy to use. The results aren't bad, right? All the photos in China were taken with the new camera and you've seen the photos in my previous post.
